The Wolf and the Sheep

늑대와 양

 

A Wolf, being sick and maimed,
아프고, 불구가 된 한 늑대가
called to a Sheep,
한 양에게 소리쳤다,
who was passing,
지나가고 있었던,
and asked him to fetch some water from the stream.
그리고 그에게 시내에서 약간의 물을 가져달라고 요청했다.
"For," he said,

"아," 그가 말했다,

"if you will bring me drink,

만약 당신이 저에게 어떻게든 마실것을 가져준다면,

I will find means to provide myself with meat."

저는 제 자신에게 고기를 제공할  수단을 찾을 것입니다.
"Yes," said the Sheep,

"네," 그 양이 말했다,

"if I should bring you the draught,

만약 제가 그 식량조달을 당신에게 가져줘야만 한다면,

you would doubtless make me provide the meat also."

당신은 확실히 제가 그 고기를 또한 제공하게 만들 겁니다.
